Museums collect, preserve and present objects to the public for the purpose of education and recreation. In Hong Kong, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) runs seven major museums which cover art, history and science. In 2017-2018, over 6.7 million visitors went to the LCSD's museums. Museums are full of fun and surprises. They inspire creativity and remind us to appreciate things around us. After years of renovation, the Hong Kong Space Museum in Tsim Sha Tsui reopened in 2018. Admission is free on Wednesdays. Try visiting the museum with your friends and family!
