【明報專訊】According to the latest guideline by the HKSAR government, starting from 30th September all people aged 5 or above entering catering premises are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19. The HKSAR government further introduced the Red and Amber Codes in August 2022.

The Eductaion Bureau said school staff or students with the amber code should not join any mask-off activities at the school, such as playing musical instruments or sports. They are also required to have lunch separately.

■Red

Applicable to all confirmed cases with positive results. People with a Red Code are not allowed to enter any premises where the Vaccine Pass arrangement applies.

■Amber

Applicable to all inbound people from overseas places or Taiwan. People with an Amber Code can take public transport and enter supermarkets to obtain daily necessities. However, they cannot enter the premises which are subject to the "active checking" of the Vaccine Pass, such as restaurants and swimming pools.

■Blue

Applicable to all healthy people who match the vaccination requirements by the HKSAR government.

After completing their isolation or medical monitoring period, the people with a Red Code or Amber Code will automatically become a Blue Code.
