Canada - Poutine

POUTINE is typically considered one of the national dishes of Canada. It is a dish of fries and cheese curds topped with gravy, which is a brown sauce made from meat juice. It is commonly believed that it was invented in Quebec city(»í¥_§J¥«) in the late 1950s. Now, it is popular throughout the country. Every year, there is a festival called La Poutine Week. Restaurants across the country make special poutines to celebrate. (photo.1)

Peru - Salchipapa

THE salchipapa is a popular street food in Peru. It is a dish of fries with sliced sausages. Some shredded raw cabbage with a salad dressing is on the side. It can also be served with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes or fried eggs. This dish is served with different sauces such as ketchup, mustard and ajˆq amarillo paste. The ajˆq amarillo is a yellow spicy pepper in Peru. It is the main ingredient in Peruvian dishes. (photo.2)

Chile - Chorrillana

CHORRILLANA is a popular Chilean dish which was invented in the city of Valparaiso(¥Ëº¸©¬µÜ¯Á). It has now become a favorite dish loved by everyone across the country. It is often served in large portions, so the dish is perfect for sharing. It is actually an enormous mountain of fries, topped with strips of beef, onions and two sunny-side-up eggs. Some recipes require sausages, tomatoes or scrambled eggs. (photo.3)
