The govenment has recently launched "Hello Hong Kong", a campaign aimed at promoting tourism and business exchange.
As COVID-19 estrictive measures have been relaxed, activities such as Marathon are also making a comeback.

【明報專訊】"Hello Hong Kong" is a large-scale global promotional campaign with a focus on four major areas:

1. To attract visitors to the city

Distributing 500,000 free air tickets and welcoming people from around the world to come.

2. To sponsor some prominent guests to visit

Inviting business leaders, political figures and influential figures to come and experience Hong Kong.

3. To tell good "Hong Kong stories"

To promote business, tourism and cultural exchange by introducing Hong Kong stories to the Mainland and overseas countries.

4. To launch more mega events

To organize more mega sports, economic, and cultural events such as Hong Kong Sevens and Hong Kong International Jewellery Show.

The world's biggest welcome ever

Hong Kong has relaxed many COVID-19 restrictive measures recently, such as restrictions on group gatherings and the use of "LeaveHomeSafe" before entering restaurants. It is hoped that the "Hello Hong Kong" campaign dubbed by Chief Executive John Lee in the promotional video "The world's biggest welcome ever", will help bring tourists back to Hong Kong as soon as possible after the pandemic.
