【明報專訊】◆Bite the bullet

To force yourself to do or to accept something unpleasant after a period of hesitation, to do some tasks that against your will.

e.g. Although Bill was afraid, he had to bite the bullet and take the vaccination.

◆Sweat bullets

To be extremely nervous about something.

e.g. I was sweating bullets during the interview.

◆Silver bullet

A simple solution to a complex situation or problem.

e.g. There is no silver bullet that can solve the housing problem in Hong Kong.
