Riesenrad︰the oldest Ferris wheel

Located in the Austrian capital city, Vienna, Riesenrad is the oldest Ferris wheel that is still operating today. Although it stands 64.75m tall, it has operated for over a century as it was built in 1897! The amusement park in which it is located, Prater amusement park, is also one of the world's longest serving amusement parks. It is a truly historical ride as the Riesenrad survived the numerous wars in Europe and still retains its original cabin design.

The Singapore Flyer: three countries in one ride!

Open to public since 2008, the Singapore Flyer allows you to behold the magnificent Singapore River and the beloved icon of this tiny city-state, the Merlion statue. At a height of 165m, you may even have a glimpse of the islands of the country's neighbours, Malaysia and Indonesia!

High Roller: the tallest in the most luxurious city

The tallest Ferris wheel can be found in Las Vegas, the US. Las Vegas is well-known for its casinos and variety shows and is considered a luxurious city. The High Roller beats the Singapore Flyer and has become the tallest Ferris wheel in the world when it opened in 2014, measuring merely around 167m. Because of the unrivalled height, a complete revolution on the High Roller takes 30 minutes!
