■English highway-words and collocations
"Touch"
There are different usages of the word "touch" in different forms. Read the following examples.
In verb form:
e.g. Don't touch my shoulder! (= don't put your hand on my shoulder)
In noun form:
e.g. Are you still in touch with her? (= are you contacting her regularly)
In adjective form:
e.g. This is the most touching scene in the movie. (= this scene
makes him feel pity, sympathy, sadness etc)
