【明報專訊】Origami is the art of transforming a square sheet of paper into a sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques. Paper lucky stars and paper cranes are the most commonly seen origami that are believed to bring good fortune.

Origami is a Japanese word. After the invention of paper, the art of paper folding began to develop in East Asia and Europe. Many forms of paper folding were later grouped under the word ''origami''.
