【明報專訊】The Smarties are holding an election to choose the next team leader, and MoMo is expected to be reelected.

“ MoMo: What are you doing here? ”

“ Eason: I'm standing for the election too! Vote for me! ”

“ Bill: We are all voting for MoMo. MoMo is elected our team leader. ”

“ Eason: No! I won! I have won by a clear majority! ”

“ Pat: Ha! All three of us support MoMo. Why do you call yourself the winner? ”

“ Eason: All my relatives voted for me! ”

“ Dr Panda: They aren't members of the Smarties... And you, Eason, are not even a qualified candidate... ”

■Culture tips

Majority Rule Day

The Bahamas(巴哈馬) is an archipelagic country (群島國家). It used to be a British colony, and the majority of people in the Bahamas are of African descent (血統).

They exercised their autonomy through the parliamentary elections after the fifties. 10 January 1967 was an important day for the Bahamians. On that day, the Bahamians held perhaps the most important election in their history. Lynden Pindling, the leader of the Progressive Liberal Party, was unprecedentedly chosen as the first native (當地的) government leader. It was not until 2014 that it became an official holiday.

■English highway﹕
