"My last record was a break-up (分手) record, and if I had to label this one, I would call it a make-up record... I'm making up with (與……重修舊好) myself. Making up for (補償) lost time. Making up for everything I ever did and never did," She said.

Being the lead single of 25, the music video of Hello has earned over 1.47 billion views, and is the fifth most viewed video on YouTube.
