【明報專訊】Hermanus(赫爾馬努斯) is a town on the southern coast of the Western Cape, South Africa. It is known as the best land-based whale watching destination in the world.

The Hermanus Whale Festival ( 29 September to 1 October )
Because of the whaling industry and other human actions, green groups consider whales "endangered". The Hermanus Whale Festival is aimed at promote education and environmentally friendly activities. Residents and visitors there celebrate the migration of southern right whales (南露脊鯨) and other marine wildlife. At the festival, whales are star performers. You can watch them on shore or at sea.
