¡i©ú³ø±M°T¡jRace walking (Äv¨B) is an athletics event competed on the international level. It is featured in the Olympic Games. MTR Hong Kong Race Walking 2016 (´äÅKÄv¨BÁÉ2016) takes place on October 23 in Chater Road, Central (¤¤Àô¾B¥´¹D).

Rules

Race walkers may look funny when they compete, but there is a reason. Either of a competitor's feet must be in contact with the ground at any time during a race. The advancing leg must also be straightened from the moment of first contact with the ground until in the vertical upright position. Therefore, a race walker must rotate his pelvis (½L°©) when he walks. That is why he looks as if he were dancing!
