【明報專訊】The Smarties have set a new reading target for themselves so they go to the library to borrow some books. Which genre of books do they like to read?

■Game 1

Pat would like to read Jack London's novel The Call of the Wild, which is about sled dogs in extreme weather. The book is trapped in the deepest part of the bookshelf. Can you help her to get the book in four moves?

■Game 2

Library materials for lending may be borrowed for a period of 14 days. Each loan item may be renewed for up to five consecutive times with a period of 14 days for each renewal. Dr Panda borrowed a book on 2 January 2019. On which day should he return the book to the library?
