The boy who gave the world a wow

A prodigy basking in the limelight, Dressel does well in sprint (短途) swimming. He was the youngest swimmer at the 2012 US Olympic Trials. Dressel already stood out from the crowd by winning six medals in the 2013 FINA World Junior Swimming Championships at the age of 17. Then he made his claim to fame by getting two golds in the 2016 Rio Olympics and seven golds in the 2017 World Aquatics Championships.

Heir apparent to Michael Phelps

Dressel helped his team set two world records in the mixed relay. No wonder the media favour this young boy. Some newspapers portray him as someone who is competent to succeed Michael Phelps (菲比斯), who has the world at his feet.
