【明報專訊】WOULD seagulls (海鷗) in Britain become more aggressive? In East Riding of Yorkshire, Looe (盧港) in south-east Cornwall and some seaside towns, people were worried that due to the pandemic, a lack of human food, which seagulls had seen as an essential source of sustenance, would make them feel hungry and behave aggressively. You had better watch out if you live in a coastal area!

A kindergarten-cum-bun-factory

STUDENTS had been gone in a Yunnan kindergarten since the Chinese New Year, which made it run out of money. It needed 300 thousand yuan each month to keep its business. Some parents suggested that it sell the buns it made, which they think were tasty. To solve the burning issue, the kindergarten operated as a bun factory and it received online orders from parents!

Binge watching might be costly

THE Consumer Council (消委會) reviewed 11 paid drama and movie streaming platforms and found that FOX+ and Netflix did not let users browse the complete catalogue unless they register or pay for a trial first. The council said users might forget to cancel the trial and would thus be charged later. Some platforms included European football matches but cancelled them later because of the closedown of global sports, which caused disputes between providers and users.
