Readers' corner:A day at the park

【明報專訊】Last Monday my family and I went to the May Park for a picnic. We prepared bowls of fruit and packaged drinks to share together.

When we were still having our yummy lunch, Dad said, "This banana is very delicious!" "This apple is yummy too!", Mum said. When I was getting a cup of orange juice, a monkey climbed towards our picnic table and snatched an apple. Thankfully, it quickly ran back to the forest.

When it was running away, we wanted to catch the monkey and take back what was ours — the apple. Dad ran the fastest, but he still failed to catch the monkey.

In the end, we were all tired from chasing the monkey. We were so tired that once we arrived home, we went to bed immediately. It was a really fun day and I would love to go on picnic with my family again.

Hi Ian! What a day at the park! Fortunately the monkey only took an apple from you. Watch out while having fun, they love getting free fruit from you.
