【明報專訊】There is a large variety of collections in the museum. What's inside the museum?

Afew exhibitions were held in the M+ Museum in the first few months, including ''Hong Kong: Here and Beyond''(香港:此地彼方) which showcased art pieces capturing the social and cultural transformation of Hong Kong from the post-war decades to the present days, the ''M+ Sigg Collection: From Revolution to Globalisation'' (M+希克藏品:從大革命到全球化) presenting experimental and unconventional art styles in contemporary (當代) China, ''Antony Gormley: Asian Field''(安東尼.葛姆雷:亞洲土地) displaying a sea of figures reflecting China's vast territory and large population, and some other exhibitions.

Ai Weiwei (艾未未) is a social activist and artist living in Cambridge. Although his name is still on the M+ website, his works are said to be politically sensitive and some of them have not been displayed by the M+ museum. Art critics have criticized that the museum for censorship and harming freedom of expression in Hong Kong.
