Sports﹕Lleyton Hewitt
【明報專訊】Lleyton Hewitt(曉域)is an Australian tennis player. Since he turned professional in 1998, Hewitt has nearly always committed himself to Davis Cup (台維斯盃) duties. He helped Australia lift the trophy back in 1999 and 2003.
Besides representing his country, Hewitt has a very successful career. He has won two singles and one doubles titles in Grand Slams (大滿貫). His world ranking rose to number 1 when he was twenty.
In recent years, he has been hampered by injuries. He has announced his plan to retire from tennis next year after the Australian Open (澳洲網球公開賽). Do you think he will round off his career with another title? We'll find out soon.
