DIY：Virgin champagne
【明報專訊】Let's celebrate the coming of summer! While party snacks might not be a good choice for the hot weather, a cool, bubbly champagne for kids surely is!
Did you know?
We know that the name Champagne refers to bubbly wines made from grapes that people drink in parties, ceremonies or meals. Yet the name itself originated from a wine-making region in northern France. Only sparkling wines made from that region can be named Champagne for business.
◆Ingredients (for 2)
．Hot water
．Chilled soda water
．Earl grey tea bag
．Strawberry (washed)
．Condensed blackcurrant/grape juice
(1) Make strong earl grey tea by brewing the tea bag in 100ml of hot water for 6-8 minutes. Discard the tea bag and let the tea cool down.
(2) Half-fill your flute glass with the cooled tea and a teaspoonful of condensed juice. Stir well.
(3) Top your glass with soda water from a small height. This allows the soda water and the tea to mix well.
(4) Cut the strawberry in half and make a small slit at the bottom. Place it on the edge of your glass for garnishing.
