Mission﹕Self-portrait of digital age

[2014.10.29] 發表

【明報專訊】The word "selfie" is found in the online version of the Oxford English Dictionary. It refers to a photograph one takes of oneself. A selfie is typically taken with one's smartphone or webcam and shared via social media. Selfies have gained in popularity. Those taken at the 2014 Oscars by the host Ellen DeGeneres (愛倫狄珍妮絲, bottom row, third from right) and some celebrities are the most famous selfies ever.

What if your arm is not long enough? You may put your smartphone or camera at the end of a monopod (nicknamed "selfie stick"). It is extendable. Using it you can get everyone into a selfie.
