【明報專訊】Wong King Lok Isaac Alliance Primary School, Whampoa (4E)

It was 1 o'clock in the afternoon. Ken was eating potato chips and watching TV. He felt very happy. But he had not finished his homework yet.

It was 1 o'clock in the morning. He still had not done his homework. He was playing computer games excitedly. Oh, no, mum was going to Ken's bedroom. Mum asked angrily, ''What are you doing?'' Ken replied worriedly, ''I am still playing computer games. ''Mum said angrily, ''No way! You shouldn't play games now because you need to go to school tomorrow. You should sleep earlier. ''Ken said, ''Sorry! Mum.''

At last, Ken felt very upset because his mum had scolded him. He promised that he would behave well.

“ Dr Panda: It's a very interesting story. To some of us, doing homework is indeed like facing a scary monster. The way Ken interacts with his mum is particularly funny. I hope by reading Smarties' Power English, you will become more confident when you learn. Keep it up! ”

e.g. If you have a cabin fever, you feel uncomfortable when you are alone at home or in a room, etc.
